Lizi Ramishvili is the winner of many international competitions, such as: the International Television Contest “Nutcracker” (Russia), Renaissance International Competition (Armenia), Eurovision Young Musicians Competition (winner of the national round and finalist of the international round). Lizi is also awarded with a number of awards and scholarships: in 2017 she was awarded with the “Tsinandali Prize”, she also at various times received the Rostropovich, Miaskovsky and Pergamenschikow’s full scholarships.
Lizzy is a frequent guest of many international festivals: Musica Mundi, Young Euro Classic, Kronberg Academy Festival, Energy for Life, Arpeggione, Peregrinos Musicales, Al Bustan, International Rostropovich, Winter Festival and Moscow Meets Friends. The young cellist has performed with orchestras such as the Real Filharmonia de Galicia, Chamber Orchestra Arpeggione Hohenem, Tbilisi Symphony Orchestra, Georgian National Opera and Ballet Orchestra, National Chamber Orchestra of Armenia, National Symphony Orchestra of Azerbaijan, Novaya Rossiya State Symphony Orchestra, Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra;
Lizi Ramishvili was born in 1997 in TBilisi. She received her music education at the Zakaria Paliashvili Central Music School and at the Kronberg Academy, supervised by Tamar Gabarashvili and Frans Helmerson, and continued her studies at the Geneva Music Academy. She is currently a student of the Reina Sofía School of Music in Madrid (class of Jens Peter Maintz) supported by the “Fundación Albéniz” scholarship.
